One person has been transported to hospital, and police have closed traffic on a busy Brampton street following a crash between multiple vehicles and a police cruiser.<\/p>\n
The multi-vehicle collision happened around 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Bramalea Road and Avondale Boulevard, Peel Regional Police say. A Peel police vehicle and two other vehicles were involved in the crash, and one male victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries as a precaution, police say.<\/p>\n
Police have closed Bramalea Road to southbound traffic in the area, and Avondale Boulevard has been closed in both directions. Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible.<\/p>\n
