{"id":890172,"date":"2026-09-10T06:44:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T06:44:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/890172\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T06:44:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T06:44:14","slug":"brampton-crash-3-vehicles-involved-in-collision-including-police-cruiser","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/890172\/","title":{"rendered":"Brampton crash: 3 vehicles involved in collision, including police cruiser"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One person was taken to the hospital following a collision in Brampton that involved three vehicles, including a police cruiser, on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The crash happened near Bramalea Road and Avondale Boulevard, north of Steeles Avenue East.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Peel Regional Police say they were called to that area at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators say a female was found with minor injuries and transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They later told CTV News Toronto that no officers were injured in the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe Special Investigations Unit has been notified; however, it has not yet determined whether the incident falls within its mandate,\u201d a media officer said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The civilian agency, which is called in to investigate when police are involved in an incident that results in death, serious injury, sexual assault, and\/or the discharge of a firearm at a person, tells CTV News Toronto that it has not been notified about this incident.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/JDSIP5SI5RG33CDKVAJQ3D5XY4.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Brampton crash Sept. 9 One person was taken to the hospital following a collision in Brampton that involved three vehicles, including a police cruiser, on Sept. 9. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Currently, the southbound lanes of Bramalea Road and Avondale Boulevard are closed to traffic due to the investigation.
