{"id":890808,"date":"2026-09-10T18:46:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T18:46:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/890808\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T18:46:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T18:46:16","slug":"police-renew-search-for-accused-arsonist-winnipeg-free-press","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/890808\/","title":{"rendered":"Police renew search for accused arsonist \u2013 Winnipeg Free Press"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Police are again asking the public\u2019s help to locate a man accused of extortion and arson in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Farhan Nabil, 29, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Six others were previously arrested in connection with extortion and arson incidents at Winnipeg retail businesses in July 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Nabil may be in Ontario, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The charges stem from incidents involving four core-area convenience stores, an unoccupied warehouse, and a retail business on Portage Avenue, where a theft was reported.
