UFC Noche<\/a> will see an exciting flyweight match-up between two women who are used to the spotlight. France’s own Manon Fiorot will clash with Mexico’s Alexa Grasso in what, in recent weeks, has become a pivotal fight in the championship picture.<\/p>\n

With the\u00a0announcement of the disappointing UFC 332 main event<\/a>, the likelihood of the winner of UFC Noche’s flyweight fight being next in line is extremely high.<\/p>\n

In pictures released online ahead of UFC Noche, Manon Fiorot looks to have taken her training to the next level.<\/p>\n

She’s always been lean and ripped, but in her current state, she looks as if she’s ready to live up to her nickname, ‘The Beast’.<\/p>\n

The Frenchwoman has established herself as one of the leading contenders in the UFC’s 125-pound division, and this fight represents another opportunity to prove she belongs at the very top.<\/p>\n

She bounced back from losing to the then-champion, Valentina Shevchenko, in her maiden title fight. Although she was outclassed in that fight, she didn’t let it dampen her spirit. She took on the surging Jasmine Jasudavicius in her home country of Canada. The Canadian was enjoying a five-fight winning run, and it took Fiorot just 1:14 to end that streak.<\/p>\n

She landed a crisp rear straight before finishing things with a knee in the clinch and brutal ground and pound.<\/p>\n

That performance was a reminder of just how dangerous Fiorot can be when she finds her rhythm. Her size, physical strength and striking have made her a difficult opponent for anyone in the division.<\/p>\n

Now, she faces another former champion in Grasso, who will provide a very different challenge. A win over such an established name would give Fiorot an even stronger case for another shot at UFC gold.<\/p>\n
