The team has acknowledged it with a tweak to his contract.<\/p>\n<p>Via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Vikings have <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JFowlerESPN\/status\/2098560374794588218?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">converted $1.5 million in playing-time incentives<\/a> for 2026 into a signing bonus.<\/p>\n<p>To earn that payment, he would have been required to participate in at least 85 percent of the defensive snaps in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers signed a two-year, $11.045 million deal last year. He\u2019s now due to make $5.94 million in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He can make another $250,000 if he qualifies for the Pro Bowl or $350,000 if he\u2019s a second-team All-Pro or, if Rodgers becomes a first-team All-Pro, $500,000.<\/p>\n<p>A sixth-round pick of the Colts in 2020, Rodgers has 77 regular-season appearances with 28 starts. Last year in Minnesota, he appeared in 17 games with 15 starts. <\/p>\n<p>His best game came in Week 3 against the Bengals, when he returned an interception 87 yards for a touchdown and a fumble 66 yards for another touchdown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers had a solid 2025 season for the Vikings.
