{"id":892542,"date":"2026-09-12T03:34:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-12T03:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/892542\/"},"modified":"2026-09-12T03:34:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-12T03:34:09","slug":"goaltender-ingram-announces-retirement-from-nhl-tsn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/892542\/","title":{"rendered":"Goaltender Ingram announces retirement from NHL \u2013 TSN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Goaltender <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/connor-ingram\/8478971\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/connor-ingram\/8478971\" target=\"_blank\">Connor Ingram<\/a> announced his retirement <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdKoOEaDTju\/?img_index=3&amp;stkn=d2V1bHhyM3Z5b2Nw\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdKoOEaDTju\/?img_index=3&amp;stkn=d2V1bHhyM3Z5b2Nw\">on Instagram<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Ingram, 29, was acquired by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/edmonton-oilers\/22\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/edmonton-oilers\/22\" target=\"_blank\">Edmonton Oilers<\/a> prior to last season from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/utah-mammoth\/68\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/utah-mammoth\/68\" target=\"_blank\">Utah Mammoth<\/a> and went 16-10-3 with an .899 save percentage and 2.60 goals-against average.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He went on to go 2-3 in the playoffs with an .876 save percentage and 3.86 GAA before the Oilers were eliminated in the first round.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 6-foot-1 netminder came off a three-year, $5.85 million contract that carried a cap hit of $1.15 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Drafted 88th overall by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/tampa-bay-lightning\/14\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/tampa-bay-lightning\/14\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a> in 2016, Ingram has a career 55-54-18 record with a .901 save percentage and 3.01 GAA split between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/nashville-predators\/18\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/nashville-predators\/18\" target=\"_blank\">Nashville Predators<\/a>, Arizona Coyotes, Mammoth, and Oilers.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Goaltender Connor Ingram announced his retirement on Instagram on Friday.
