Angel Reese has built one of the most rebounding-dominant resumes in recent women\u2019s basketball history, and the numbers keep piling up at every level she\u2019s played.<\/p>\n

The 6\u20193\u201d athlete started her college career at Maryland before transferring to LSU, where she became a national champion and one of the most decorated players in program history.<\/p>\n

In 2022-23, she averaged 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds while leading LSU to its first-ever NCAA title, earning Final Four Most Outstanding Player honors. That season, she set the NCAA single-season record with 34 double-doubles and broke the SEC\u2019s single-season rebounding record.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her senior year brought more of the same: 18.6 points and 13.4 rebounds per game, SEC Player of the Year honors, and a career rebounding average of 14.4 per game, still the highest mark in conference history, as per Sports Reference<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chicago took Reese seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, and she made her presence felt immediately, leading the league in rebounding as a rookie at 13.1 per game, then again in 2025 at 12.6, adding All-Star nods both years. In 2024, she also set the WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles with 15 straight.<\/p>\n

Traded to the Dream ahead of 2026, Reese kept climbing, averaging 16.1 points and 12.4 rebounds, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach 1,000 career rebounds, and setting the single-game rebounding record with 26 boards.<\/p>\n
