\u201cI don\u2019t think our quality was where it needed to be today,\u201d said Vancouver FC coach Martin, following a 3-1 loss to Inter Toronto on Sunday at York Lions Stadium.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Luca Accettola got the scoring started for Toronto with a strike from well outside the box. Then, less than five minutes after the break, Tomasz Skublak doubled the lead and went on to also score Toronto\u2019s third goal.<\/p>\n
Vancouver would strike back with about 20 minutes to play, as Thierno Bah snuck a ball past Inter keeper Kai Campos.<\/p>\n
While Nash said the first goal was \u201ca worldie,\u201d the following two were preventable, in his view.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe gave a lot of easy balls away, we had moments in transition where we had numbers and we just didn\u2019t take advantage,\u201d Nash said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought we had a sloppy start to the second half, which hurt us; two sloppy goals from our point of view, and you can\u2019t give sloppy goals away, especially on the road. Not ideal, but it\u2019s one we\u2019re going to have to put behind us quick.\u201d<\/p>\n
Vancouver remain in control of their own destiny in fourth place, but they\u2019ve now lost four of their last five games. <\/p>\n
