{"id":895541,"date":"2026-09-14T15:16:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T15:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/895541\/"},"modified":"2026-09-14T15:16:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T15:16:10","slug":"someone-will-win-pne-prize-home-in-surrey-today-monday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/895541\/","title":{"rendered":"Someone will win PNE Prize Home in Surrey today (Monday)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>              Someone will win PNE Prize Home in Surrey today (Monday)<\/p>\n<p class=\"pubStamp\">Published 5:00 am Monday, September 14, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Monday is lottery draw day for the annual PNE Prize Home.<\/p>\n<p>A lucky winner will be announced 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at Freedom Mobile Arch in Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/surreynowleader.com\/2026\/05\/05\/photos-inside-the-2-3m-pne-prize-home-in-north-surrey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">PNE Prize Home<\/a> is located in North Surrey because a poll of lottery ticket-buyers suggested their city of choice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do listen to what our ticket-buyers tell us in terms of the types of neighbourhoods that they would like to be in, and this was at the top of the list,\u201d Shelley Frost, PNE president and CEO, said May 5 during a launch event at 10100 Elderberry Cres., south of Surrey Bend Regional Park and north of Highway 1.<\/p>\n<p>The $2.3-million house, boasting seven bedrooms, 4,117 square feet and a two-bedroom legal suite in the basement, is in the Abbey Heights development by Foxridge Homes, a Qualico Company.<\/p>\n<p>Lottery tickets were sold on <a href=\"https:\/\/pneprizehome.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">pneprizehome.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a non-profit organization,\u201d the website says, \u201cthe PNE uses revenue raised through PNE Lotteries to support a number of important programs that benefit agriculture, arts, sports and community-building initiatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Closed Labour Day (Sept. 7), the 2026 PNE Fair welcomed 642,149 guests to Hastings Park, surpassing the 2025 Fair attendance of 612,404.
