Living with hip or knee osteoarthritis doesn\u2019t have to mean giving up on the activities you enjoy. Staying active, building strength and learning how to manage symptoms can all play an important role in maintaining mobility and quality of life.<\/p>\n
SooToday\u00a0SPACES<\/a> is partnering with Aline Wellness<\/a> for an upcoming networking event on Wednesday, September 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Canopy at Village Media, where attendees can learn more about GLA:D\u00ae<\/a> (Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark) \u2014 an evidence-based education and exercise program designed for people living with hip or knee osteoarthritis.<\/p>\n The program combines education, individualized exercise and physiotherapy support to help participants improve strength, mobility, function and confidence with movement.<\/p>\n At Aline Wellness, GLA:D\u00ae includes an initial physiotherapy assessment followed by 12 supervised exercise sessions over six weeks, along with education on osteoarthritis, exercise and symptom management.
