Nike\u2019s move positions it alongside rival sportswear giants already embedded in Formula 1, with Puma producing official F1-branded apparel and outfitting Ferrari, Aston Martin and McLaren, and Mercedes aligning with Adidas in a major multi-year deal.<\/p>\n

The arrangement would see Nike supply team kit for Formula One Management staff on race weekends, giving the Swoosh a highly visible, year-round presence across the calendar.<\/p>\n

It also revives a historic link. Nike previously partnered with Michael Schumacher from 1996 to 2002, including his bespoke racing boots and the Air Zoom Schu trainer.
