Jenna Bush Hager <\/a>wouldn\u2019t have chosen to eat chicken or fish at Savannah Guthrie<\/a>\u2019s wedding, because she proved on a recent episode of \u201cToday with Jenna & Friends\u201d that she clearly loves beef. <\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode, Bush Hager was discussing honeymoon trends with her guest co-host Guthrie when the former first daughter bluntly confronted the \u201cToday\u201d anchor about how she \u201cwasn\u2019t invited\u201d to Guthrie\u2019s 2014 wedding.<\/p>\n

Immediately after Bush Hager called out her close friend and colleague for the decade-old slight, Guthrie looked visibly annoyed. Rattled, Guthrie muttered that it was \u201cweird\u201d that Bush Hager would bring this up while they were live on air. <\/p>\n

Despite Guthrie\u2019s obvious discomfort, Bush Hager decided to plow ahead and turned to the audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she claims we weren\u2019t friends, but\u2014\u201d Bush Hager said with a shrug.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were friends! But it was a small wedding and \u2026 we can\u2019t do this again,\u201d an exasperated Guthrie said, indicating that they\u2019ve had this conversation multiple times before.<\/p>\n

After some telling back-and-forth about how this was a very sore subject between the two women, Bush Hager told Gutherie to \u201cgo ahead\u201d with her explanation as to why she wasn\u2019t invited.<\/p>\n

Guthrie went on to say that if she had tied the knot more recently, Bush Hager would have definitely been invited.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, if we were married today, we both\u2014 We would be each other\u2019s bridesmaids, OK?\u201d Gutherie said, while noting that they\u2019re both godmothers to each other\u2019s kids. <\/p>\n

\u201c100% agree,\u201d Bush Hager said. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Although it may seem like Bush Hager\u2019s confrontation was unprovoked, Guthrie did seem to needle her a bit earlier in the episode.<\/p>\n

While Bush Hager was describing her own 2008 wedding<\/a> and honeymoon, Guthrie kept on asking questions for clarity before jokingly noting she was \u201cnot invited\u201d to Bush Hager\u2019s wedding \u2014 likely because Guthrie didn\u2019t know Bush Hager that well at the time. <\/p>\n

Bush Hager began working as a correspondent on \u201cToday\u201d in 2009<\/a>, while Guthrie became a co-host on the show in 2011<\/a> \u2014 although Guthrie had worked as a legal and White House correspondent at NBC before scoring her gig on \u201cToday.\u201d<\/p>\n

And although one would think the dust had settled between Bush Hager and Guthrie after they squashed their wedding beef on Wednesday, Bush Hager wasn\u2019t quite done.<\/p>\n

When Guthrie said that she came back to work the Monday after her nuptials to announce to viewers that she had not only gotten married but was also pregnant at age 42<\/a>, Bush Hager began asking Guthrie invasive questions about how she was able to conceive. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s why you were able to have a baby,\u201d Bush Hager randomly said, confusing Guthrie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know how you have a baby,\u201d Bush Hager stammered, clearly noticing that Guthrie looked uncomfortable again. \u201cBut you needed to start.\u201d <\/p>\n

Gutherie, clearly trying to keep her personal life personal, then gave a brief timeline of her dating history with her husband, before saying, \u201cWell, lucky us, we got pregnant.\u201d<\/p>\n
