{"id":898088,"date":"2026-09-16T16:08:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T16:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/898088\/"},"modified":"2026-09-16T16:08:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T16:08:10","slug":"toronto-maple-leafs-forward-max-domi-fails-physical-out-indefinitely","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/898088\/","title":{"rendered":"Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi fails physical, out indefinitely"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/max-domi\/8477503\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/player\/max-domi\/8477503\" target=\"_blank\">Max Domi<\/a> will not be on the ice when the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/toronto-maple-leafs\/10\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/team-page\/toronto-maple-leafs\/10\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> open training camp and for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">General manager John Chayka told the media Wednesday that the 31-year-old winger failed his physical remains out indefinitely due to complications from an undisclosed off-season surgery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Chayka added Domi would address the situation publicly \u201cat the right time in the near future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto announced on May 25 an issue arose after Domi underwent a procedure to deal with an injury that hampered him throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
