Police have again arrested and charged a former worker at a teen camp north of Brampton in a sexual assault investigation.<\/p>\n
The investigation started in February after officers in Caledon received a report about the sexual assault of a youth that allegedly happened back in 2023, the OPP says.<\/p>\n
In April, the OPP announced the arrest of a 32-year-old male suspect who was charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age.<\/p>\n
Police say the accused worked at the Teen Ranch in Caledon, which runs summer camps, hockey and skating programs, horses, day camps and family camps. He was also an ice\u2011skating instructor when the assault occurred. Police said there may be additional victims.<\/p>\n
And investigators now say the same man has been arrested again and hit with more charges after a second victim came forward.<\/p>\n
The OPP says Alexander Armitage, now 33, has been arrested and charged with three counts each of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, invitation to sexual touching to person under 16 years of age and sexual interference.<\/p>\n
He has also been charged with one count each of make sexually explicit content available to a person under 18 years of age and forcible confinement.<\/p>\n
Investigators are asking parents and guardians to speak with their children \u201cregarding possible instances of sexual misconduct\u201d that may have occurred while the accused was employed at the Teen Ranch and as an ice skating instructor.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe accused is no longer employed with Teen Ranch and the organization has been cooperative with police throughout this investigation,\u201d the OPP says.<\/p>\n

A LinkedIn profile for Armitage, which has since been removed online, says he started working as a \u201chockey skills and skating instructor\u201d at Teen Ranch Canada in 2018.<\/p>\n
