Hardwood Ski and Bike, in partnership with Pulse Racing Inc., has been selected as the official venue for the<a href=\"https:\/\/ontariocycling.org\/announcing-the-2026-cx-preliminary-calendar\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"> 2026 Canadian Cyclocross Championships<\/a> on October 31, 2026.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This prestigious event will bring Canada\u2019s top cycling talent to the region to battle for the iconic maple leaf jersey.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To kick off the excitement, a grassroots media and public photo opportunity will take place earlier in the month, offering a perfect angle on how the community is getting involved:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Event: Free Community Cross Night<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Date: Monday, October 5th, 2026<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Time: 5:30 PM \u2013 7:00 PM<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Location: Hardwood Ski and Bike (402 Old Barrie Road W, Oro-Medonte)<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<br \/>\n\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Details: Local residents of all ages are invited to try the official championship course for free. The evening includes free bike rentals, trail guides, and free hot chocolate.
