Via Amanda Christovich of Front Office Sports, an NFLPA spokesperson said this: \u201cWe are aware of the memo and are in touch with each of the players\u2019 representatives. We will <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/achristovichh\/status\/2100389767804305450?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">explore all options<\/a> to ensure each player\u2019s rights are protected within the Collective Bargaining Agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, agent Drew Rosenhaus (who represents Wright) told Christovich that Wright is <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/achristovichh\/status\/2100367448289529957?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">considering his legal options<\/a> based on the NFL\u2019s position that Wright and Harris can\u2019t return to the NFL, even though they never returned to college football.<\/p>\n<p>The players union could, and perhaps should, file a grievance. The situation is unique, and the NFL seemingly created a rule on the fly, with no precedent to guide the decision \u2014 and apparently without a clear agreement from the NFLPA.<\/p>\n<p>Wright and Harris have gotten the short end of the stick. They made a business decision to seek another year of college football after not making 53-man NFL rosters, and they secured the legal right to return to LSU for another season.
