Beginning October 1, eligible full-time, part-time, seasonal, and corporate employees in Canada will receive 10 percent off eligible online grocery and daily essentials purchases through Amazon.ca, according to the company.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon says there will be no cap on savings. The offer applies to eligible purchases; the announcement should not be read as a blanket discount on everything sold through the retailer.<\/p>\n<p>The company also lists existing benefits for regular full-time operations employees, including medical, dental and vision coverage from their first day, an employer-matched registered retirement savings plan, the Employee Prime Benefit and Career Choice tuition support. The eligibility language matters: the benefit description for regular full-time staff does not establish identical coverage for every employment category.<\/p>\n<p>Two dates for employees to watch<\/p>\n<p>The Amazon pay increase takes effect September 27, while the new shopping benefit begins October 1.
