The four-time NBA champion’s new partnership with prediction-market platform Polymarket has turned into one of the more talked-about arrangements of the offseason, mostly because of how it stacks up against his actual playing contract in Philadelphia.The figures, first reported by Front Office Sports, put James well ahead of his $3.8 million salary for the coming season. The timing has also reignited chatter about why he passed on other suitors this summer, including a team that reportedly couldn’t match the same financial flexibility.<\/p>\n
