Founded by gaming<\/a> industry veterans Deepak Gurijala and Raviteja Mantena, 1312 Interactive focuses on publishing indie and AA games for global audiences, providing developers support across production, marketing, distribution and platform relationships.<\/p>\n

The fresh capital will be used to expand the company’s publishing efforts across emerging markets, with a focus on premium PC and console titles. It will also support marketing, quality assurance, localisation and production for developers in India and other markets.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat games can come from anywhere, but the infrastructure to take them to a global audience has historically been out of reach for many studios,\u201d said Gurijala.<\/p>\n

As part of its expansion, 1312 Interactive is launching 1312 Playground, a community-led initiative that will connect developers with players earlier in the game-development cycle. The platform will allow studios to gather player feedback, conduct hands-on testing and understand audience preferences before launch.<\/p>\n

\u201c1312 Interactive stood out to us because Deepak and Ravi aren’t just publishers, they’re operators who understand what it takes to get a game from a studio’s vision to a global storefront,\u201d said Krish Anurag, managing and founding partner at Chimera Venture Capital.<\/p>\n

The company said its debut publishing slate includes Winds of Arcana, Palm Sugar: A Village Story, Souls of Bombarika, We Are So Cooked and Misadventures of Space Man Biff. It plans to add 6-8 titles annually to its pipeline while providing studios with marketing, QA, localisation and production support.<\/p>\n

1312 Interactive said it will continue to focus on indie and AA PC and console games, with an ambition to build a global publishing platform rooted in emerging markets.\n <\/p>\n
