A Japanese restaurant chain has opened a second location in Mississauga.<\/p>\n
Kinton Ramen opened at Heartland Town Centre. It\u2019s the second location in the city\u2014the first is on Confederation Parkway, near Square One Shopping Centre.<\/p>\n
After a soft-opening, the restaurant announced that the official grand opening of the new Heartland Town Centre restaurant will be on Saturday, Sept. 19. Doors will open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. that day \u2013 and dine-in guests can enjoy 50 per cent off all regular ramen items to celebrate.<\/p>\n
Kinton Ramen Heartland Mississauga is located at 6045 Mavis Rd., Unit 11, in the southern end of the shopping centre. The new restaurant offers visitors an affordable and accessible dining option in one of the GTA\u2019s premier retail destinations, Kinton said in a press release.<\/p>\n
\u201cTogether with the franchise team, we identified Heartland Town Centre as a prime location for a second Mississauga restaurant,\u201d said Trista Jorgensen, marketing director, Kinton Ramen. \u201cGiven the continued growth of the municipality and strong visitation from across the GTA and beyond, we\u2019re confident both shoppers at Heartland Town Centre and local residents will continue to strongly support this new location.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kinton Ramen said they focus on \u201chigh-quality, authentic Japanese cuisine, with a specialization in rich, slow-cooked ramen broths.\u201d<\/p>\n
The brand has now opened more than 20 GTA locations.<\/p>\n
\u201cNearly 15 years ago, our first restaurant opened in the GTA, so expanding in the region always carries special meaning for us,\u201d said Jorgensen. \u201cThe response at Heartland has been incredible in terms of foot traffic and guest response, and it continues to reflect the clear demand for high-quality, authentic ramen.\u201d<\/p>\n
Established in May 2012, Kinton Ramen was one of Toronto\u2019s first Japanese ramen restaurants. Led by executive chef Aki Urata, the restaurant said it uses the freshest ingredients to make quality noodles and broths.<\/p>\n

There are now more than 60 Kinton Ramen locations across five provinces \u2013 Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, Alberta and Quebec \u2013 with much of its growth taking place over the past five years.<\/p>\n
Kinton Ramen Heartland Mississauga is open daily from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., with closing extending to 12 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.<\/p>\n
