I drove down to Dallas Monday night to stay with Sofia so that Alex and Mauricio could check into the hospital Tuesday morning. By Tuesday evening…their family of three was updated to a family of four!

Meet Charles…otherwise known as Charlie Scott! This was about 30 to 45 minutes after he was born.

Ree Drummond

Ladd had driven down after he finished some ranch work, and he was excited to get to see his first grandson…and the fact that the baby is named after his dad made it that much more special. Here, he’s saying, “He looks a little cranky!”

Ree Drummond

Ladd has a little soft spot in his heart for Alex.

Ree Drummond

I said this when Sofia was born, but it just doesn’t seem possible that our first baby is having babies of her own. Especially considering the fact that we are only 34 years old.
