Today, Offset<\/a> dropped his third studio album, KIARI. The project sees the former Migos<\/a> member get vulnerable, reflecting on everything from the tragic 2022 death of Takeoff<\/a> to his own emotional growth. He even opens up about his divorce from Cardi B<\/a>, which has been a messy process.<\/a><\/p>\n

On \u201cMove On,”<\/a> for example, he calls the femcee out for some of the things he thinks she did wrong in the relationship. This includes not cooking for him, not listening to him, and more. “You never listen to no rules \/ You never cook n****s no food \/ You just want go out to Nobu \/ Telling me sh*t that you don’t do,” he rhymes.<\/p>\n

Offset also says he hopes her next partner is “great,” potentially referring to her relationship with Stefon Diggs. He unpacked the song during an interview with the\u00a0Associated Press earlier this month, revealing that it’s about walking away without holding on to too many hard feelings.<\/p>\n

Offset KIARI<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s about moving on, like, peacefully,”\u00a0he explained. “That\u2019s what the message is supposed to be: moving on peacefully. It\u2019s all love, peace. It’s love. I just ended that up with the album, just to end that chapter of that s**t because it’s like, just move on, it\u2019s over and done with. It was great while it lasted. You know what I mean? That shouldn\u2019t be the topic for either one of us no more. It\u2019s a book that\u2019s closed.”<\/p>\n

Offset admitted to making some mistakes of his own<\/a> in the relationship during an interview with Ebro Darden on\u00a0Apple Music this month too, and claimed to have learned from it. \u201cI f*cked up,\u201d he said. \u201cI gotta acknowledge that and then get back on the journey.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve accepted the actions I\u2019ve done to cause certain situations to happen \u2014 I had to. But at first I didn\u2019t. I was trying to act tough and like I didn\u2019t give a f*ck at first,\u201d he added. \u201cBut the actions that I did in the time I was acting that way,\u00a0I realized I was wrong.<\/a>\u00a0I realized I was wrong\u00a0and had to get out of the way.
