Prince Harry made his first official outing since his and Meghan Markle\u2019s turbulent return to the United Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex attended the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London on Thursday \u2014 without his wife.<\/p>\n

When asked by People<\/a> how things were going since he, Markle and their children returned to the UK, Harry responded, \u201cGood. It\u2019s good to be back on British soil.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the outing, he wore a black tuxedo and bow tie with his military medals on display. <\/p>\n

He also wore the Royal Victorian Order medal around his neck.<\/p>\n

In photos obtained by Page Six, Harry was chipper as he took selfies with other attendees.<\/p>\n

He was also spotted walking into the event with two former Invictus competitors, per a video obtained by Hello! magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is the first time that Harry has stepped out for an official appearance since moving back to the UK on Aug. 26.<\/p>\n

Harry and Markle\u00a0relocated to the UK<\/a>\u00a0with their two kids \u2014 Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 \u2014 six years after they stepped away from their royal duties<\/a>\u00a0and moved to Montecito, California.<\/p>\n

Although Harry moved back to be closer to his cancer-stricken father<\/a>, the two appear to be at odds already.<\/p>\n

About a week after the family of four\u00a0touched down in England<\/a>, King Charles\u00a0III released a statement<\/a>\u00a0 clarifying the couple\u2019s status as \u201cprivate citizens with commercial and charitable interests\u201d \u2014 not working royals.<\/p>\n

However, the \u201cSpare\u201d author, 41, and Markle, 45,\u00a0took issue<\/a>\u00a0with the label, per People, as they\u00a0consider themselves \u201cpublic figures.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Shortly after, Uganda withdrew from the Invictus Games<\/a> in \u201csupport\u201d of the monarch \u2014 a decision that Harry allegedly blamed on his father\u2019s announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Charles, ultimately, intervened and his top adviser \u201cencouraged\u201d Uganda <\/a>to \u201cproceed with preparations for [their] participation in the games\u201d during a phone call.<\/p>\n

The couple faced another blow when they had to\u00a0pull their kids out of school<\/a>\u00a0just two days into the semester over security concerns caused by heavy traffic in the area.<\/p>\n

As Page Six previously reported, the pair chose a ritzy $35K-a-year prep school<\/a>\u00a0for their little ones.<\/p>\n

\u201cNone of these\u00a0logistical problems<\/a>\u00a0are a surprise,\u201d royal expert Kinsey Schofield exclusively told Page Six on Monday. \u201cWhen I was speaking to people locally about the original school, one of the first things I was warned about was the horrific traffic.\u201d<\/p>\n

To make matters worse, Markle\u2019s personal cellphone number was leaked<\/a> in a WhatsApp chat for school parents.<\/p>\n

While Charles has\u00a0spoken to Harry<\/a>, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, allegedly plan to ignore him and Markle<\/a> entirely.<\/p>\n
