One person is dead and police are asking witnesses to come forward following a serious crash between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle north of Brampton.<\/p>\n
The two-vehicle crash happened around 6 a.m. on Friday when a dump truck and a sedan collided in the intersection of King Street at Dixie Road in Caledon, the OPP says.<\/p>\n
Police say the 61-year-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the dump truck was uninjured in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n
