The Jets open their preseason with a Saturday night\u00a0matchup against the Edmonton Oilers.<\/p>\n
Head coach Scott Arniel did not fully disclose who will be heading to the Alberta capital but did leave some clues.<\/p>\n
\u201cViggo will be in there, Lambert, Yager. Almost all the young guys. The veteran guys, I think Fleur will be going. Just trying to get it to that number,” said Arniel on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
“They allow you to have first rounders, five years in a row with a first rounder, allows us to put a few more kids in. They\u2019re not playing a big lineup as well. It just allows us to get through this one more so because of the back to back we\u2019ve got Monday and Tuesday.”<\/p>\n
The Jets will hold their morning skate at 10 am CT at hockey for all centre before departing for Edmonton.<\/p>\n
