(Jaison Empson\/CBC)<\/p>\n<p>A 60-year-old delivery driver was attacked and stabbed in central Winnipeg, near the Health Sciences Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Police were called just after 12:15 a.m. on Sept. 17 to a parking lot on William Avenue, near Sherbrook Street in the West Alexander neighbourhood.  <\/p>\n<p>Officers found the man lying in the parking lot and they provided emergency medical care, including a tourniquet, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>No information was provided about where on his body the man was stabbed.<\/p>\n<p>He was sent to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable.<\/p>\n<p>No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the major crimes unit at 204-986-6219.
