\u201cReset and recovery operations on some Windows versions might fail,\u201d Microsoft has suddenly admitted, promising<\/a> \u201can out-of-band update for the affected platforms to resolve this issue in the coming days.\u201d That could be as soon as today.<\/p>\n Windows Latest<\/a> reports the company \u201chas warned millions of users on Windows 11 23H2\/22H2 and Windows 10 against using the built-in Reset and Recovery feature.\u201d Following the mandatory August security updates, PC users need to be careful.<\/p>\n Microsoft says after installing the update (KB5063875<\/a>), \u201cattempts to reset or recover the device might fail.
