The end of the WNBA’s regular season is just a few days away, and with playoff seeding still very much on the line, each game this week is critical.

Here’s a look at the latest standings and clinching scenarios following Tuesday’s action.

The Minnesota Lynx and Indiana Fever’s matchup on Tuesday carried plenty of implications.

The Lynx could have clinched the top seed in the WNBA with a win, and a Fever loss would have given the Atlanta Dream a top-four seed. Caitlin Clark and the Fever played spoiler, beating the Lynx 96-77.

For Minnesota, securing the top seed would have meant it could rest its starters against the Fever on Thursday, but the Lynx will instead have to bring their best in their season finale.

The Lynx, Valkyries and Aces have all secured top-four seeds, but the Dream are still fighting for home-court advantage.

Having home-court advantage in playoff series is paramount, especially when the playoff field is as close as this year’s group is. While a team like Minnesota had a strong regular season, the gap between it and a bottom-four seed isn’t that big this year.

A Lynx win on Tuesday would have made things a lot easier for several teams, but the loss sets up an exciting next few days.

[629
49,48,82,630
post-906159","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-wnba","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-sports","tag-wnba
["GET
