font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Qualcomm sees running AI agents and models on their devices as a cheaper alternative to users paying to run applications via the cloud.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">&#8220;Today marks a milestone as we introduce not one, but two new flagship mobile platforms, delivering agentic AI experiences that are immediate, personal, and adaptive,&#8221; Chris Patrick, senior vice president and GM of mobile handsets at Qualcomm, said in a statement.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">Still, smartphone-related sales continue to drive Qualcomm&#8217;s revenue. In its July earnings report, the company&#8217;s CDMA Technologies segment revenue, which includes smartphone, internet of things, and automotive sales, brought in $8.5 billion of Qualcomm&#8217;s $9.9 billion in total sales for the quarter.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"text text-block paragraph text-left neo-font-paragraph-xl-reg  yf-18d6y07\" style=\"text-decoration: none; font-style: normal; text-transform: none; text-align: inherit; font-variant-numeric: normal;\">\u00a0Handset sales in particular topped $5.1 billion.
