She understands the issues facing people of all ages in BC, as a mother, teacher, and past president of the BC Teachers\u2019 Federation. As a broadcaster, Jinny has been a strong voice for the South Asian community, hearing from people across Surrey about the issues that matter to them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPeople in Surrey-Panorama are facing tough challenges right now, and the BC NDP is the only party with a plan,\u201d said Sims. \u201cWhile the Conservatives cosy up to Trump, David and our team will continue with our work to lower costs for families and recruit more healthcare workers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BC NDP will continue to stand up for British Columbians, create more family-supporting jobs and prioritize healthcare, while the Conservatives would only go back to their old playbook of making cuts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cJinny is a dedicated advocate for her community,\u201d said David Eby. \u201cShe is a strong voice for the people of Surrey, whether behind the microphone at Swift Radio, in local, provincial, or federal politics, or as a neighbour, family member, and friend.
