Dolly Parton\u2019s manager is now seeking a restraining order against her nephew Bryan Seaver, after he was fired from his longtime post as head of security.<\/a><\/p>\n

The late singer\u2019s manager of over 20 years, Donny Nozell, claims in a new lawsuit that Seaver \u2014 who announced Parton\u2019s death<\/a> in August \u2014 is trying to extort him for money and has been threatening him, TMZ reported <\/a>Tuesday. <\/p>\n

Nozell is seeking a temporary restraining order against Seaver, which would ban him from coming within 1,000 feet of Parton\u2019s offices in Nashville, Tennessee, and from interfering with her business.<\/p>\n

According to the docs obtained by the outlet, Nozell accuses Seaver of \u201cinvoking his self-proclaimed military-contractor experience, access to weapons, and capacity for violence\u201d to demand money, and alleges he started threatening him a few weeks before the singer died.<\/p>\n

Seaver allegedly threatened, \u201cAll I do is warfare \u2026 everyone needs to be worried about what I might do.\u201d <\/p>\n

Another one of his alleged messages reads, \u201cHer money better be bigger than I can make elsewhere or I\u2019m going to f\u2013k everyone. I am about to become the hand of retribution for my entire family.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement to the outlet, Seaver said the messages were taken out of context.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing in this lawsuit were threats and most of the comments I stand by,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was talking frankly in a private way with Danny who I thought was my friend and he fancies himself a gangster,\u201d he also said in part. \u201cA lot of these messages are two guys having rage talk and crying on the phone together while we were grieving.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, Seaver fired back against Nozell <\/a>after he was fired, claiming it was \u201cunexpected\u201d and \u201cunexplained.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much,\u201d he and his team said in a statement to TMZ.<\/p>\n

Seaver and his team also said while they\u2019ve been comforted by the worldwide support for Parton\u2019s legacy, they \u201cremain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nozell (seen here with Parton and her publicist Kirt Webster in April 2014) is seeking a temporary restraining order that would keep Seaver away from the singer\u2019s business and properties. Rick Diamond<\/p>\n

Seaver, who was Parton\u2019s longtime head of security, was the one who publicly announced her death in August. Dolly Parton\/Instagram<\/p>\n

The outlet reported earlier that Seaver received a notice\u00a0informing him that he and his security companies were immediately dismissed from all of Parton\u2019s properties,<\/p>\n

However, the termination letter doesn\u2019t eradicate Seaver\u2019s personal interest in Parton\u2019s trust, which covers her business interests and properties, per TMZ.<\/p>\n
