Dru Brown did beat Toronto earlier in the year in relief, and the Bombers have home wins over Montreal and Saskatchewan in their last two at Princess Auto Stadium, playing a noticeably more physical brand of football. The defence remains the backbone: Winnipeg allows just 272.2 passing yards per game, best in the league, and its 27.1 points allowed ranks third. The problem is consistency — the Bombers have alternated wins and losses for six straight weeks, and the offence sits seventh in both points (26.5) and total yards (345.8).

Toronto is exactly the opposite: 6-2 in its last eight, with wins over Edmonton and BC and two near-misses at Mosaic Stadium, and now a legitimate threat to Montreal’s East crown with a Week 21 date against the Alouettes still to come. The Argos own the league’s top passing attack at 359.1 yards per game, with Chad Kelly leading the CFL in passing yards (4,777) and touchdowns (31) and Damonte Coxie up to 1,111 receiving yards. The concern is the schedule: a short week with travel against a rested opponent is a spot that rarely works out, and the defence — eighth against the pass at 313.8 yards allowed — is only now starting to tighten up.

The market is split 3-2 on who the favourite even is. TonyBet, Granawin and BetPlays make Winnipeg a 1.5-point favourite, presumably pricing in home field and the bye, while 1xBet and BetLabel have Toronto laying 1.5 on the road. That means both teams are available as a +1.5 underdog: Toronto backers get +1.5 at 1.85 at TonyBet or Granawin, and Winnipeg backers get +1.5 at 1.90 at 1xBet or BetLabel. On the moneyline, the gap is even wider — Toronto pays 1.94 at TonyBet and Granawin against just 1.80 at the two books that favour the Argos, while Winnipeg pays 1.97 at 1xBet and BetLabel against 1.80 elsewhere. With Collaros in doubt and Toronto the more consistent team over the past two months, the visitors are the side, and the 1.94 is the price.

Prediction: Argonauts 27, Blue Bombers 24.

Pick: Toronto moneyline (1.94 at TonyBet).

BookMoneylineSpreadTotal 58.51xBetTOR 1.80 / WPG 1.97TOR -1.5 (1.86) / WPG +1.5 (1.90)O 1.88 / U 1.88TonyBetTOR 1.94 /…

[437
49,48,521,522,520,82
post-906587","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-cfl","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-canadian-football-league","tag-canadianfootballleague","tag-cfl","tag-sports
["GET
