Jon Hamm is \u201cvery excited and deeply terrified\u201d about becoming a dad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actor broke his silence on wife Anna Osceola<\/a>\u2018s pregnancy news<\/a> during a \u201cLate Night With Seth Meyers\u201d appearance<\/a> Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019m doing it right,\u201d the \u201cYour Friends & Neighbors\u201d star, 55, said of his conflicting emotions, noting that he doesn\u2019t think those feelings should ever \u201cgo away.\u201d<\/p>\n

He subsequently poked fun at his \u201cold dad\u201d status, saying, \u201cWhen your kid is 70, you\u2019ll be like, \u2018I did it!\u2019 When I\u2019m 152.\u201d<\/p>\n

A report surfaced in August that Hamm and Osceola, 38, have a little one on the way.<\/p>\n

The actress debuted her baby bump on the Emmys 2026 red carpet<\/a> in a striped gown.<\/p>\n

When Seth Meyers pointed out Tuesday that Osceola picked the \u201cpeak\u201d time to show off her budding belly, Hamm agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not saying she did it on purpose, but it was some timing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Emmy winner and his partner have been an item<\/a> since 2020.<\/p>\n

The pair met five years earlier while filming \u201cMad Men\u201d in Big Sur, California \u2014 and they tied the knot<\/a> at the same location in June 2023.<\/p>\n

While the couple keeps their relationship out of the spotlight, Hamm shared rare details about their wedding<\/a> five months after walking down the aisle.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was very sparsely attended, by our decision. It was small,\u201d he gushed to \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d viewers of the \u201cperfect\u201d nuptials. \u201cMan, it was great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to his romance with Osceola, Hamm dated actress Jennifer Westfeldt<\/a> for nearly two decades \u2014 and confessed to Us Weekly during their time together that he\u2019d be a \u201cterrible father.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2012, the Golden Globe winner told Playboy, \u201cI don\u2019t have a driving force to have a baby. That said, I\u2019m in a committed relationship, and if it ever came up, I\u2019m not ruling it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also swore off marriage<\/a> in the interview, explaining, \u201cI don\u2019t mean to say that it shouldn\u2019t mean things to other people. It\u2019s just my experience. I don\u2019t have that paragon of married life to look at and think, \u2018Oh yeah, that\u2019s it!
