Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cinner circle\u201d found out the singer\u2019s baby news<\/a> \u201cwhen everyone else did,\u201d multiple sources told Page Six.<\/p>\n \u201cNearly nobody knew,\u201d one insider shared with us, claiming the Grammy winner\u2019s \u201cclosest confidantes \u2026 had no idea.\u201d<\/p>\n Lady Gaga (pictured above on Sept. 11) kept her \u201cinner circle\u201d from her baby news, a source told Page Six. BACKGRID<\/p>\n \u201cNearly nobody knew,\u201d the insider said of Gaga and fianc\u00e9 Michael Polansky (pictured above on Sept. 11) welcoming a baby girl. BACKGRID<\/p>\n The \u201cextremely happy\u201d performer, who \u201ckeeps her circle tight as it is,\u201d is spending a lot of her time in Northern California with fianc\u00e9 Michael Polansky<\/a> and has \u201ccompletely secluded herself with the baby.\u201d<\/p>\n The source continued, \u201cShe\u2019s loving being a mom. \u2026 She wanted to do these big tours and I think now she\u2019s done performing at least for a very long while. She just wants to be a mom now.\u201d<\/p>\n Another insider \u2014 who is a friend of the singer who Page Six delivered the news to \u2014 clarified they were \u201cnot offended\u201d by the \u201cBad Romance\u201d hitmaker, born Stefani Germanotta, choosing secrecy and \u201claying low since her [\u2018Mayhem\u2019] tour ended\u201d in April.<\/p>\n The performer (pictured above on Sept. 11) has \u201ccompletely secluded herself with the baby.\u201d BACKGRID<\/p>\n The insider added, \u201cShe\u2019s loving being a mom.\u201d (Pictured above: Gaga on Sept. 13.) Seems like a really safe place for her.\u201d<\/p>\n The insider, notably, is \u201cpro Michael\u201d and \u201cvery pro of her being able to have some of semblance of a normal life carved out.\u201d<\/p>\n The first source doubled down on 42-year-old Polansky being a \u201creally nice, normal guy.\u201d<\/p>\n Gaga\u2019s rep did not respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. Corbis via Getty Images<\/p>\n Page Six broke the news earlier this month that Gaga\u2019s little one had arrived<\/a>.<\/p>\n While the infant\u2019s name<\/a>, sex and date of birth were not known at the time, TMZ reported last week that the songwriter, 40, welcomed a baby girl via surrogate<\/a> on June 9 in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n The 3-month-old is named Rose Bean, with both monikers holding special meaning<\/a>.<\/p>\n Gaga, notably, performed \u201cLa Vie En Rose\u201d in her 2018 film, \u201cA Star Is Born\u201d \u2014 and another of her songs \u201cBorn This Way\u201d was inspired by activist Carl Bean.<\/p>\n The couple (pictured above in February 2025) went public in 2020 and got engaged four years later.
