(Image Credit: Submitted)<\/p>\n<p>By Nigel Maxwell<\/p>\n<p>Inspiring people<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tSep 23, 2026 | 5:36 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>A teenage girl from Stanley Mission\u00a0is giving back to the people who helped her\u00a0when she was in a very dark place.<\/p>\n<p>September is Suicide Prevention Month in Canada, serving as a dedicated time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and share resources. Throughout the month 17-year-old Alyssa raised nearly $500 through cupcake\u00a0sales and then used the money to\u00a0buy pajamas for youth staying at the Dube Child and Mental Health\u00a0Centre in Saskatoon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it made me feel a lot better about everything.
