DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is an amazing game, but Square Enix’s Switch 2 version has admittedly fallen short of fan expectations.

As you can see, it’s basically the existing cover art with gold details and trim. On the back, there’s also an emblem and some lovely pixel art.

In our review of the Switch 2 version, we said Dragon Quest XI S was still worth a look if you’re a newcomer, or even a fan looking to do a fresh run (thanks to the performance boosts). Otherwise, you might be better off waiting for a sale on this one.

Will you be giving the Switch 2 version of DQXIS a go? What do you think of this exclusive sleeve? Let us know in the comments.
