NLTA President Dale Lambe (VOCM News)

The president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association says the violent assault recently shared on social media is just one of an average of 23 incidents happening every day.

Dale Lambe says violent incidents are becoming more prevalent within the school system, and teachers and principals are increasingly having to rely on police intervention.

“Overall, the trend would be in our communities to see an increase in, you know, our RCMP or RNC involvement. They’re the forces that are equipped to handle the situations and to know what the repercussions should be for these situations,” he told VOCM news.

Bikers and drivers drive past Ascension Collegiate in Bay Roberts yesterday (submitted) Bikers and drivers participated in…

[4
49,48,269876,44,185074,269873,269875,269877,269874,269870,269871,269872
post-908977","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-canada","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-listen-to-vocm","tag-news","tag-news-radio","tag-news-radio-st-johns","tag-st-johns-fm-radio","tag-st-johns-local-radio","tag-st-johns-radio-station","tag-vocm","tag-vocm-590","tag-vocm-radio
["GET
