Gisele B\u00fcndchen allegedly begged Tom Brady for more help with their kids and attention to their family in a \u201cserious\u201d handwritten note ahead of their bombshell divorce.<\/p>\n
The supermodel gave the retired NFL star the letter after the 2018 Super Bowl, when the New England Patriots lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a new book \u201cBrady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cShe explained that their marriage wasn\u2019t working,\u201d Author Lars Anderson writes in an excerpt posted by Daily Mail Friday<\/a>. \u201cShe needed more of him, more of his time, more of his attention, more of his heart.\u201d<\/p>\n Gisele B\u00fcndchen allegedly asked her ex-husband, Tom Brady, for his time and attention in a \u201cserious\u201d note before their split. (Seen here: The exes.) gisele\/Instagram<\/p>\n According to author Lars Anderson in an article for the Daily Mail published Friday, the supermodel allegedly gave her ex the letter after the New England Patriots lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2018 Super Bowl. (Seen above: Brady and B\u00fcndchen.) tombrady\/Instagram<\/p>\n Anderson, who details the exes\u2019 relationship in his book, which comes out Sept. 29, states that B\u00fcndchen, 46, needed Brady, 49, \u201cto be present when he was at home.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNot responding to text messages on his constantly buzzing cell phone or replaying a game in his mind,\u201d Anderson continues.<\/p>\n \u201cShe needed more help with the kids. She needed the chance to sleep in just a few days a week. She needed more time for her own career.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe explained that their marriage wasn\u2019t working,\u201d Anderson alleged. Robert Miller for NY Post<\/p>\n Brady\u2019s former teammate tells Anderson that B\u00fcndchen \u201cwas a bigger international star\u201d than her now-husband.<\/p>\n \u201cShe was getting tired of living on Tom\u2019s schedule and being somewhat in his shadow during football season,\u201d the teammate alleges.<\/p>\n \u201cShe has a lot of pride, too. And, I mean, how many times did you see Tom supporting her career? There clearly were imbalances there.\u201d<\/p>\n Anderson alleged that the model also needed help with the kids. At the time, Brady had announced his retirement from the NFL that February before walking back on his decision<\/a> a few weeks later.<\/p>\n B\u00fcndchen and Brady parted ways in 2022. gisele\/Instagram<\/p>\n They were married for 13 years.
