{"id":91107,"date":"2025-08-23T11:48:06","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T11:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/91107\/"},"modified":"2025-08-23T11:48:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-23T11:48:06","slug":"tim-bradley-predicts-andre-ward-vs-anthony-joshua-fight-as-back-and-forth-continues-he-beats-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/91107\/","title":{"rendered":"Tim Bradley Predicts Andre Ward vs Anthony Joshua Fight As Back And Forth Continues: &#8220;He Beats Him&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hall of Famer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/tim-bradley\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tim Bradley<\/a> has weighed in on the potential showdown between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/andre-ward\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andre Ward<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/anthony-joshua\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Joshua<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/news\/ward-given-ultimatum-from-joshua-for-fight\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rumours have began to circulate about a clash between Ward and Joshua taking place at some stage in the near future<\/a>, after the 41-year-old American took to social media earlier this month to make a call-out to the two-time unified world heavyweight champion.<\/p>\n<p>Ward has not fought as a professional since he racked up a second consecutive victory over Sergey Kovalev in June of 2017, successfully defending his unified light-heavyweight titles for the first time before going on to announce his retirement from the sport shortly after.<\/p>\n<p>As for Joshua, the 35-year-old from Watford is yet to make a return to the ring following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/boxing\/story\/_\/id\/41364598\/daniel-dubois-anthony-joshua-retains-ibf-heavyweight-title-wembley-ko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the shock defeat that he suffered to fellow countryman Daniel Dubois last September<\/a>, falling short in his attempt at becoming a three-time heavyweight champion at Wembley Stadium in London.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/aISNG31s8aQ?si=evPlZJ74fGnvDCLF&amp;t=173\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Speaking on his own YouTube channel<\/a>, Bradley didn\u2019t hesitate to back Ward to get the better of Joshua, as he claims he believes the British heavyweight is actually more interested in a clash with Jake Paul.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Andre Ward beats Anthony Joshua. Joshua would rather fight Jake Paul than fight Andre, come on man, come on, make it make sense. I mean get the Jake Paul fight, Jake Paul brings a lot of eyes to the table but that\u2019s not really a real fight for Joshua man, and if Joshua can\u2019t knock out no damn Jake Paul, what do you think he\u2019s gonna do against a guy like Andre Ward?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite advanced talks with \u2018AJ\u2019, Paul has instead announced an event with Gervonta Davis. It leaves the big-punching Brit searching for his next opponent still.
