Plus, with the Red Sox sending Connelly Early to the Nationals at the deadline, they&#8217;ll need to hold on to their starting pitching.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium mui-m06sf4\">According to Mass Live&#8217;s <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong mui-mlpnpn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.masslive.com\/redsox\/2026\/09\/red-sox-sonny-gray-after-bad-yankees-tenure-i-felt-like-theres-nothing-i-cant-do-now.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Cotillo<\/a>, Gray could be looking at a contract in the three-year, $75 million range.
