Geoff Ogilvy wasn\u2019t in the mood to second guess his decision to play five of his players all five sessions at Medinah following his team\u2019s 17 to 13 defeat on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The International side came short again despite carrying a three-point advantage into Sunday singles.<\/p>\n
The Americans responded with a historic trouncing, winning nine of the 12 matches.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously we came here with high hopes,\u201d Ogilvy said. \u201cWe had a really good team and a great environment. We had a pretty good plan, and I feel like the plan went pretty well the first three days. First four sessions, you couldn\u2019t ask for more than to have a three-and-a-half point lead going into singles in the U.S., that\u2019s a hard thing to do. We did the hard work the first three days.<\/p>\n
He noted that Chicago got louder and louder as the day went on. <\/p>\n
\u201cI feel like it\u2019s such a momentum game.
