Now that they’ve done so we can see that they will have the following players on the roster:

G (2): Clay Stevenson, Stuart Skinner

D (8): Dylan DeMelo, Neal Pionk, Jack St. Ivany, Haydn Fleury, Mario Ferraro, Josh Morrissey, Dylan Samberg, Tyrel Bauer

F (13): Vladislav Namestnikov, Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi, Adam Lowry, Isak Rosén, Morgan Barron, Cole Koepke, Mark Scheifele, Viggo Björck, Nino Niederreiter, Kyle Connor, Cole Perfetti, Brad Lambert.

Injured: Elias Salomonsson (inj), Garrett Brown (inj) & Walker Duehr (inj).

This means 18-year-old eighth overall pick Viggo Björck has made the NHL out of training camp, becoming the first Winnipeg first-rounder to do so since Ville Heinola in 2019 and just the fourth in the last 16 years, joining Patrik Laine (2016) and Mark Scheifele (2011). Of course, only Laine played the full season with the Jets in the year he was drafted.

It also means that Tyrel Bauer makes the Winnipeg roster for the first time in his five-year career as a pro. And let me tell you after speaking with his Moose teammates today that they are all pulling for the big Albertan.

Jets Projected Lines & D pairs:

Connor-Scheifele-Perfetti
Rosén-Björck-Vilardi
Barron-Lowry-Lambert
Niederreiter-Namestnikov-Iafallo
Koepke

Morrissey-DeMelo
Samberg-Pionk
Ferraro-Bauer
Fleury-St. Ivany

Skinner
Stevenson

Season Outlook:

Can the Jets bounce back after a difficult 2025-26 season? How will they navigate the Connor Hellebuyck situation? And are the young players ready to take the next step and become meaningful contributors? Those questions will shape Winnipeg’s season, but the real test will be whether they can put themselves back in the playoff mix and show they are capable of building toward something more sustainable.

Of course they have to play 84 games before the post-season begins and we want you to stick with us every step of the way.
