\n\tDisney\u2019s \u201cAvengers: Endgame Encore<\/a>\u201d dominated the U.K. and Ireland box office, debuting in first place with \u00a34.1 million ($5.5 million) across its opening frame.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cResident Evil<\/a>,\u201d distributed by Sony, moved to second position in its sophomore frame, collecting $3 million to elevate its running total to $11.6 million. Paramount\u2019s action thriller \u201cHeart of the Beast<\/a>,\u201d starring Brad Pitt and J.K. Simmons, bowed in third place with an opening haul of $2.8 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s \u201cSense and Sensibility<\/a>\u201d opened in fourth position, generating $2 million in its debut frame. Studiocanal\u2019s animated release \u201cShaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom\u201d took fifth place in its second weekend, adding $1.1 million to push its cume to $3.4 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tWarner Bros.\u2019 \u201cPractical Magic 2\u201d placed sixth in its third frame with $1 million, advancing its gross to $9.5 million. Studiocanal\u2019s \u201cPressure\u201d held seventh spot in its third week, adding $780,739 for a running total of $7.6 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d followed in eighth place taking $494,831 to lift its total to $117.1 million. Sony\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d landed in ninth position in its ninth frame with $422,187, lifting its total to $134.6 million. Prathyangira Cinemas rounded out the top 10 with Indian title \u201cThe Paradise,\u201d which banked $358,942 in its opening session.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking ahead to the upcoming theatrical frame,rollouts began on Monday with Underground Slate launching Matt Leutwyler\u2019s sports drama \u201cFight Like a Girl\u201d across 25+ locations. Mid-week event programming on Wednesday features Altitude\u2019s documentary \u201cKnife: The Attempted Murder of Salman Rushdie\u201d and Trafalgar Releasing\u2019s music title \u201cLinkin Park: Unshatter\u201d. Thursday includes Zee Studios International\u2019s Indian release \u201cBaththa\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n\tWide and saturation debuts on Friday across 300+ locations are led by Warner Bros.\u2019 Tom Cruise drama \u201cDigger.\u201d Sony will also launch the Colleen Hoover psychological thriller adaptation \u201cVerity,\u201d starring Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett, alongside Universal\u2019s \u201cGirls Like Girls,\u201d directed by Hayley Kiyoko across 100+ screens.<\/p>\n
