Now, even though some top WNBA figures have defended transgender athletes\u2019 rights.<\/p>\n<p>As of now, no transgender athlete is an active player in the W. But that didn\u2019t stop Kanter from calling out the soon-to-be retired WNBA Commissioner, Cathy Engelbert.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are 217 WNBA players in the league, and now I\u2019m speaking directly to all of you. I\u2019m astonished. You play in a league and have a commissioner who cannot and will not define your gender and is embarrassing you in front of the entire world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026 They\u2019re trying to figure out how to define a woman in a way that fits their nonsense agenda,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EnesFreedom\/status\/2104588914266714411\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kanter wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cDeep down, I believe you don\u2019t want a biological male entering your league and taking your minutes, your money, your endorsements, and your dignity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you all really that afraid of cancel culture that you would rather sacrifice your morals, values, and principles for money?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kanter also claimed that if NBA Commissioner Adam Silver comes out and says he can\u2019t define what a man is, it\u2019ll immediately cause massive outrage among players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026 The real threat to women\u2019s sports is not the one asking the question.
