Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark reacts.<\/p>\n The Indiana Fever\u2019s hopes of advancing are already on thin ice after the Las Vegas Aces punched them in the mouth on Sunday, but Caitlin Clark and Co. are -1.5 favorites to get payback tonight in Game 2 as I make my Aces vs Fever predictions.<\/p>\n A\u2019ja Wilson gave Indiana fits in Game 1, but a trip to Gainbridge Fieldhouse will test even Las Vegas\u2019 championship mettle, and my WNBA picks<\/a> envision the hosts leveling the series.<\/p>\n Here are my WNBA picks<\/a> ahead of this Sept. 29 matchup, with tipoff at 6:30 pm ET.<\/p>\n Aces vs Fever prediction: Fever moneyline<\/p>\n It\u2019s a win-or-go-home scenario for the Indiana Fever<\/a>, but I expect the hosts\u2019 elite offense (96 PPG) to show up tonight and rattle the Las Vegas Aces<\/a>.\u00a0I\u2019d bet this up to 55%.<\/p>\n The Fever are 11-5 straight up after a loss and 15-7 SU at home this season, and they won two of their three outings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in the 2025 playoffs.<\/p>\n Look for Aliyah Boston<\/a> to do a better job in the paint against A\u2019ja Wilson<\/a>, who took over in Game 1. The Fever will also get more efficient nights from Caitlin Clark<\/a> and Kelsey Mitchell<\/a>, who combined to go 10-for-33 shooting on Sunday.<\/p>\n A faster pace will suit the Fever, too. That\u2019s one area where the Aces could be vulnerable, but we didn\u2019t see Indiana in full flight in the series opener, with Las Vegas\u2019 59% shooting limiting transition chances.<\/p>\n Enjoying Covers content? I’m buying into more up-tempo fireworks tonight, with Indiana ranking third in pace but struggling to get stops.<\/p>\n The Over is 5-2 in the Fever’s last seven outings, while the Aces are averaging 97.9 PPG during their current eight-game winning streak.<\/p>\n While Wilson’s heroics grabbed the headlines over the weekend, Indiana will surely cook up some different counters and schemes for the reigning MVP now. That’s why I’m looking at Jackie Young<\/a> to round out this combo.<\/p>\n Young quietly chipped in with 21 points and 10 assists in the series opener, and she’s dished out\u00a010+ dimes in three straight games. There\u2019s a nice floor for this pick, with the Indiana star logging 9+ dimes in 12 of her past 17 outings.<\/p>\n Indiana desperately needs to find ways to get out in transition for easy buckets, and those are the opportunities for Clark\u2019s playmaking to shine against a retreating Las Vegas defense.
