Staines then closed the distance, secured a takedown and forced his opponent to work back to his feet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Abushaar managed to stand, but he wasn\u2019t upright for long.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Staines immediately lifted him and delivered a brutal mat return that knocked Abushaar unconscious. Despite turning professional just three years ago, Staines has already faced respectable competition across Cage Warriors and OKTAGON MMA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Staines now owns a 45 percent finishing rate, with three submissions and two knockouts.
