The Indiana Fever superstar is on pace to be one of the greatest players the league has ever seen.

After a poor display in Game 1 against the Las Vegas Aces, Clark decided it was time to make some more history. She pulled out all the stops in Game 2, putting up an offensive performance for the ages.

Clark had 27 points on the night, to go along with a whopping 15 assists. She shot 50 percent from the field, and 45 percent from three-point range. In the process, she did something nobody ever has before.

Photo by Mark Blinch/Getty ImagesCaitlin Clark becomes first player in WNBA history to record 25+ points and 15+ assists in a playoff game

The regular season is important, but performances matter just a little more when everything is on the line. Clark’s display in an elimination game is a sign that she truly has what it takes to be great.

In the process of dragging her team back to tie the series, Clark played at her offensive best. Her performance is the first of its kind in the WNBA Playoffs.

What makes it even better is that Clark also crashed the boards. Three more rebounds would have given her a historic triple-double on the night, too.

She will have to replicate this performance if they want to get a win on the road and actually defeat the Aces to go on to the next round.

MORE WNBA PLAYOFFS STORIES

Considering that no other player has ever achieved this before, though, that might be a little tough. If anyone could do it, it would be CC. Game 3 promises to be extremely exciting.

Join Our Newsletter

Receive exclusive football transfer news and updates twice a week to your mailbox

      Add to Preferred Sources

Follow us on Google Discover Caitlin Clark is no stranger to breaking records, and she got another one…

[629
49,735,48,2803,3460,82,630,26214
post-915034","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-wnba","tag-ca","tag-caitlin-clark","tag-canada","tag-indiana-fever","tag-las-vegas-aces","tag-sports","tag-wnba","tag-wnba-playoffs
["GET
