Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are so far ahead of the chasing pack on the ATP Tour.<\/p>\n

Nobody really comes close.<\/p>\n

Their domination does not stop at just the world rankings though, as at the Grand Slam level, this duo have shared every title for the last seven events.<\/p>\n

At the US Open<\/a> this year, it\u2019s expected to be no different.<\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of the final major event of the year, Goran Ivanisevic, famed for both being an elite-level player himself as well as a supremely successful coach alongside Novak Djokovic, has explained exactly what makes them so great.<\/p>\n

Appearing on the First & Red YouTube channel, he admitted that whilst they are \u2018two completely different players\u2019, the fact that they come from \u2018extremely normal families\u2019 has been crucial in their development and rapid rise.<\/p>\n

The Croatian claimed: \u201cIn tennis, I never saw more crazier families, everybody interrupting, it\u2019s not easy for the players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThese two people, they are unbelievable. Sinner\u2019s father, he didn\u2019t even come to watch the Roland Garros final because he was working. Alcaraz\u2019s mother and father, they are the two nicest people I\u2019ve ever met in my life, and they are so nice. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou can see Alcaraz is playing like a little kid in the park, and he\u2019s enjoying. He\u2019s laughing. It\u2019s beautiful to watch. <\/p>\n

\u201cJannik is more like Novak. He\u2019s upgraded Novak, and they play similar. With Sinner, you are done. Alcaraz plays with you, you know, it can go out and come back. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut their environment is normal. Tennis is a process. You never know when good things are gonna happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s why in my opinion, these two guys, they\u2019re gonna be one and two for the next 10 years, maybe 15, I don\u2019t know who\u2019s gonna be one, who\u2019s gonna be two, who\u2019s going to win more Grand Slams.\u201d<\/p>\n

This came just after Ivanisevic made a prediction about Stefanos Tsitsipas\u2019 future<\/a>, having addressed the controversy surrounding his comments about the Greek player.<\/p>\n

Jannik Sinner will be hoping to defend his US Open title<\/p>\n

Jannik Sinner<\/a> will be hopeful that, despite the disaster that was the Cincinnati Open final, he can successfully defend his title in New York this year.<\/p>\n

After all, he did so in Melbourne with minimal fuss, brushing aside the competition on his favoured surface.<\/p>\n

However, there are fresh question marks over his current level, having played just one event since winning Wimbledon, and being forced to retire with an illness against Carlos Alcaraz<\/a>.<\/p>\n
