After the break, Indonesia continued to press, but several chances went unfinished. The tension grew as Malaysia kept adding goals against Singapore, making goal difference increasingly important. Luke Vickery scored in the 90th minute to put Indonesia 7-1 ahead, but Bangladesh pulled one back a minute later. With Malaysia leading 6-0, Indonesia needed more goals to secure their place in the final.
The drama peaked in stoppage time. Kevin Diks scored in the sixth minute of added time to make it 8-2 before Mitchell Baker found the net again a minute later. The goal completed Baker’s four-goal haul and sealed Indonesia’s 9-2 victory. The result sent Indonesia through to the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 final, where Thailand await in the title decider scheduled for Oct. 5. (IO/Septo Kun Wijaya)

[440
49,48,561,82
post-917554","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-soccer","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-soccer","tag-sports
["GET
