Thanks to local businesses

Editor,

I would love to give a shout out to two businesses in the White Rock/South Surrey area.

When I shop I am mindful of where products are originating from, especially produce. I have notice the Safeway store located on 24th Avenue is doing an excellent job of clearly identifying countries of origin, and I applaud them for this. As a result I try my best to take a few extra minutes to drive and shop there.

The second business is the Home Hardware store on 140th Street at 16th Avenue. Considering their size in comparison to the larger big box stores, they manage to carry amazing selection of inventory, and I have always been able to find what I am looking for. But the most important thing is their excellent customer service, which I appreciate. Sadly customer service seems to be on the decline.

A big thank you to both of these local shops.
